St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) is a direct service non-profit organisation whose work primarily involves person-to-person contact with people who have a variety of needs. It offers support and friendship, trust and confidentiality, promotes self-sufficiency, enabling people to help themselves and works for social justice.
Mullagh SVP has almost 30 volunteers who assist in their shop and/or visits. Mullagh SVP shop opened 3 years ago – it offers great value. It sells new/good as new clothes, shoes, books, curtains, CDs, delph, toys, children’s buggies, highchairs, furniture, endless list.
It also takes in clothes, shoes, books & soft toys for recycling that are unsuitable for resale.
SVP is unable to accept electrical goods of any sort, children’s car seats, mattresses, gas cookers, damaged bikes, damaged toys
Mullagh shop is open between 10am and 2pm from Monday to Saturday with late opening to 4.30pm on Friday. Shop contact phone no is 087/3315371
All monies generated by the shop are used to support those in need in the local area.
